Hey! I purchased this domain about 6 years ago, and originally planned on documenting all my projects on the site. I quickly lost interest due to having to write pages in HTML and javascript by hand. I was even using Boostrap to handle all the fancy responsive layout and theming, but it still wasn’t simple enough…
I was recently introduced to Jekyll by a friend, and I think it might be the solution I was looking for!
Jekyll builds static web pages from markdown files. You can quickly apply themes just as you can with Bootstrap. Best of all, making a new blog post is as simple as filling a *.md file with plain text content and hitting the save button and Jekyll does the rest!
